I rushed on the news of the launch of Viva services, and boy was in for another treat.. 21MB unlimited and FREE internet connection that is one LIMITED, and TWO not free and THREE with a connection speed that drastically varies based on your location within the country.

Submitted by moodz on Sunday, 26 July 2009One Comment

There really isn’t much I want to comment about, I haven’t had the chance to attend most of the events (either because of my lack of interest, or the fact that I usually arrive late and get to spend the night doing something else). But.. Credit must be given…

True..
True..
Somewhat True

On the other hand, I am personally sick and tired from concerts of Rashid AlMajid, Nancy Ajram, Hussain AlJasmi and the rest of the regional music celebrities, I am sick and tired of all those religious campaigns of preachers and lecturers. I can not even watch another Kuwaiti comedy play, or listen to another sitting for the reading of نبطي poetry.

We need more, we need something different, something.. new?
Well done Sheikha Mai, another job well done..

I completely agree Mohammed in that it’s quite silly to bash this summer’s activities. For the first time in a really long time, if not ever, we are seeing dance shows in Bahrain, Moody’s Jazz, Sufi dance, big Barnie shows that only performed in mighty Dubai… Credit must be given. I’ve been to a couple of shows and I’m going to two more and I must say that I left always feeling happy and fulfilled (so to speak)…

If next summer things don’t get better, organization remains the same, then those eager bashers will be justified… But for now, not really…
