Rant: Stupid Blogs
It’s been a while since I’ve actually turned to my blog to let some steam out, but I guess it’s about time someone speaks about this.
Have you ever come across a blog where you just get this feeling that this will be the last time you go there? But you soon find yourself checking every post just to see the shallowness and utter stupidity of the writer?
Please, for god’s forsaken sake, don’t even try to start writing if you have nothing interesting to write? Why do you write just for the sake of updating the blardy god damn stupid blog? DON’T! It ain’t worth it. If you would just close the fucking account because you will read back a decade later and start imagine how stupid you were.
Some like to blame religion on everything, literally everything. Be it the problems in the Middle East, our crippled stone aged mentalities, or even our sewage system problems! Let’s blame it all on religion! Not only would they sound cool and stick out like a sore thumb amongst hundreds of other Arabic blogs who are praising religion and suggesting it as a solution to every problem known to the human kind!
Ok it might sound “hip” the first two posts, maybe three.. ok four if you stretch it. But when you have you’re entire blog dedicated to bad mouthing religion. You do have a problem!
What’s worse are those other blogs that evolve around feelings. Yeah! FEELINGS!! You see.. I have nothing against people expressing their feelings, I bet it’s nice and healthy.. helps you get you through the day.. something the same line as Dr. Phil shows.. It’s just pisses me off when bloggers beg for sympathy out public and in front of the entire world! Why the heck am I supposed to read post after post that start with “ I feel down today” and “I am so depressed this morning” have some self dignity for fuck’s sake!
Other bloggers just have the worse command of English I have ever seen, or even Arabic now that I have thought of it. I am not proclaiming to be proficient of English, hell my god damn 15 year old brother can write better essays than me in both languages, but honestly nothing pisses me off more than “writers” who can’t write sophisticated English but they try to come out to the world like they can! YEAH! THOSE!! Who’se in desperate attempts end up making themselves look like complete morons and thesauruses addicts!
Anyway, screw it. I don’t even know what I am talking about. I am just here to grumble and this is just some of the things that have been piling up which I just thought of voicing out. Why am I writing all these? Because I am not in a good mood, I heard things I shouldn’t and I sure as hell feel stressed out from my fucking job. Bah, go on with life..
Bahraini bloggers are never happy lol
you know what would be fun? if you publish links to the sites that piss you off, so we can all have a good laugh.

Usually I complain a lot about local traditions [when they become an obstacle for progress ] and religious extremists .
I spit on Saudis every now and then [the government not normal people] .
My English sAx but for an Italian is much better than one might expect .
I remember anyway that a blog used to a personal space
I never forced anybody to read me .
It took me 30 min to write this in a decent English .
No offence but Gulfians have no sense of humor .

Sorry, but what you write is worse than any really boring blog.
No one forces you to read his blog, no: Most bloggers write for themselves. A blog is no paper which is distributed to its readers, but a free space for the self-expression of its writer. Yes, bloggers share what they write, but its always an offer to the readers who can take it or leave it.
You don’t have to read a blog you don’t like. You just don’t have to read it – it’s all about you.
Live and let live…your blog struck me as absolutely mediocre, poorly written with even poorer content. Under normal circumstances, I would have just skipped your blog and moved on. But since you chose to bring up the subject of banning blogs based on content, maybe charity should begin at home. Use of foul language is by no means cool. It only reinforces a badly articulated message.
That is why there is a little button up on top that says …NEXT.. so sophisticated blokes such as yourself are not forced to fall victim to the mundane rantings by types like me…whatever you do do not visit my blog coolred38.blogspot.com….not only do I blame culture quite often…and, while I have never personally mentioned the sewage system…it sucks…and my feelings are prevalent and obvious throughout my posts…that is why I blog…to express my disgust, my happiness, my disappointment, my satisfaction…my emotion of the day. Its there, I admit it…take it or leave it but its still there…once I post its there baby…I dont believe in the delete button. You dont have to read it…you dont have to finish reading this…but common curtesy says…if you cant say something nice…get the fuck off my blog….or something like that. have a nice day

I may not agree with emoodz but let me tell you that your blog is the most boring blog among all other Bahraini blogs and because I follow you precious advice I stopped reading your blog since long time. I got fed up with the negativity and your continuous criticism to Bahraini, Arabs and Muslims. But then in every blog that I visit I must find a comment written by you and again the same boring negative comments about everything and anything.
Seriously if you don’t like Bahrain then I suggest you better move to some other country and save us all these boring posts. And if you don’t like Muslims then may be you need to convert to some other religion. I guess you have many options but please stop nagging and ranting on silly and trivial things.
Wow…since you commanded it…I guess I better oblige. Yes…the usual answer when faced with criticism of your country…go home then if you don’t like it!! I’ve lived here for 20 years…I think I have the right to say what I feel. Most of you have never even lived in the states…yet you feel quite content to slam it every chance you get…
I write for myself…nobody else…boring or not…it is what it is. Feel free to share your “feelings” about it all…thats what I do…have a good day.
Exactly .. and emoodz wrote for himself and whether it is right or wrong .. boring or wrong it is what it is except that someone who lacks the self confidence like yourself thought that the post is about him/her blog.
Hmmm…I answered exactly like everyone else…”if you dont like it then dont read it”…so why you got ur knickers in a twist little girl…or is it boy? I did it rather “tongue in cheek” to match his ranty post…which is what he titled it…so what! It means nothing at the end of the day…its all relative baby….dont sweat it.
btw my self confidence needs no cyber back slapping or high fiving from people like you to make me feel good…I get all I need from my kids…and I get all the critisizm I can handle

hehheheh moodz u made me laugh, i’ve been wanting to laugh since this morning.. well its true people can write whatever they want on their blog, i think that’s the idea.. but sometimes u read through a blog and u vomit and sometimes u read a blog like urs and u laugh

This is exactly why I didn’t want to actually pin point actual bloggers or posts that drive me nuts. People with brains the size of a nut will come out here shouting “whateverrrr” like some 13 year old MTV addict and nag “if you don’t like my blog just don’t read for me” or use some strong language to cover up some insecurities and lack of confidence.

You see, when your post is being picked up by the aggregator in a blogsphere as limited as the one we have in Bahrain. It is more likely than not that I actually WILL skim through each and every post as I go through the aggregator. And when you put your dirty laundry down for the world to see, someone will eventually complain! It is a democratic country at the end of the day you know!!
Again, nothing is wrong with casual nagging. Heck this actual post in particular is an complain about other blogs and bloggers. You see, as I said earlier.. I have nothing against whining and nagging, I have nothing about complains, grumbles or whines about one thing or the other.. What I really have a problem with is when people build their entire blogs on such issues, with such huge negativity and not even providing a solution.. a way out..

Why do you think ppl blog? Have you ever asked your self that question? Some do it for fun, some just like to write things, some for their own group of friends, some are experienced in writing, some are so young, some just want to belong in groups and so go on. So you can’t blame some ppl for being stupid in writing. Not every book you read I’ll read and not every thing amazes you will amaze others laaa?
