I rushed on the news of the launch of Viva services, and boy was in for another treat.. 21MB unlimited and FREE internet connection that is one LIMITED, and TWO not free and THREE with a connection speed that drastically varies based on your location within the country.

wow mate. you did it. congrats on you first podcast
I just like it the way it is; improvised and cosy. And I second Silver Girl, this English+Arabic lang is becoming my main way of communication in the office. i even add Persian to the recipe here and then AND I’m liking it
My only suggestion for you is to experiment until you find a style that suits you most and stick to it. Ohh yeah, one more thing; add some sound effects or background music if possible
Keep them coming Mo
Man that was brilliant! Keep it up, we still SHOULD do a podcast show, and your idea of starting your own blog’s culture of a Friday Podcast is also very very nice. So please do continue, the quality is very nice too.
Now you’re talking, pun intended ! The rss please ! wanna get this on my ipod
keep it up man !
I have to go against butterfly ! Writing the whole thing will only make you sound more like a news reader ! Trust me I am a big podcast fan and one of the major put offs is a podcaster sounding like a robot ! Well done man and please keep it up ! This will be a joy for the car ! As you know the drive from hamad town to manama can be quite boring ! This should make it more fun
First of all, let me congratulate you on this great idea and very nice move. Congrats dude! You’ve really made yourself and Bahraini people proud.
I liked the idea so much. I’m looking forward to your Friday Podcasts and will be one of the first people who listen to your Friday Podcasts. Keep it up man, and do continue as Mahmood said.
Regarding your voice, it was very clear mashallah. I personally do not mind mixing Arabic and English in your podcasts. But as someone noted here, next time it would be better if you wrote your points in a piece of paper before speaking, just so your ideas can be presented in an organized way. but this doesn’t mean that today’s podcast is bad. Not at all man. It is really very nice, especially that you were speaking your mind out confidently. I salute you brother. Keep it up.
love it!
Actually it is great to find more and more young people talk about our daily life in Bahrain love you blogs and love your podcasts keep it up..
cheers
YOU SOUND SEXY! I must say that coz every lady who commented here wants to say so but couldn’t so here it is
Enjoyed listening to your podcast. Keep em coming! Hear yeah next week!
I was seriously very hesitant about the whole thing; I was even on the edge of deleting the post this morning before it was picked by the aggregator. The entire idea wasn’t planned for or anything but a spur of the moment decision. I plugged in the microphone, hit the record button and took myself to a joy ride.
For one thing it was fun; more fun that dealing with plain text at least, it was basically just thinking out loud, which caused the dawdling and the mess when it came to the sequence and construction of ideas.
The mix in the language I can’t really control, this is the way my mind functions.. bilingually : ) The majority of my future podcasts will be in Arabic as I am more comfortable talking in it, but I’m sure a couple of English nouns here and there won’t be too much of a turnoff to anyone.
I promise better ones by time, I just didn’t have enough amount of time to put much effort into this one. I’m a big fan of Mahmood’s Friday’s gardening posts, there is something about those shots of his flowerbeds, green grass and birds that give my morning a different taste! That was what triggered the idea of having a Friday morning digest for my readers, a subject that is plain simple, not so complicated, boring or redundant, something endurable with a twist of sarcasm is the style I plan to maintain, basically just being myself out loud and in public. Unlike other bloggers I didn’t have this tie of the blog and my personal self, it was always just an exhibit of my thoughts and ranting, hopefully podcasting will put this to an end!
Thank you for your criticism, suggestions and comments everyone. And hey, podcasting is even easier than maintaining a text blog, go out there and do it yourself!
I just posted my first (you kinda pushed me to doing so).
I must say, its too much hassle if one hasn’t done it before or not experienced.
بالعربي:
يبي لييييييييها مزااااااااااااج من قلب
First of all,, Congratulations for this nice move..
Although your first podcast is very sensitive (political issues), it is not only speaking your mind, its speaking ours as well .. But let me comment on one thing, Ali Salman is always bullshitting us not only now.
Keep it up bro !
this is a good move Mohamed, I salute you.
I agree to many of what you stated, but don’t you think there are Hidden agenda’s, I mean, it was clear to many that a bigger number of MP’s will be against this investigation, why did Al-Wifaq only got this issue out 2 weeks before the summer break?
there many question marks, but then again, this Parliament as you called it is sterile and I cant believe in any of the MP’s.
a Parliament that I will believe in is a Parliament that stands up for its promises on the first week of DUTY(yes it is duty) not the last week, a Parliament that sets laws to protect Arts and the evolution of it in the country.
the time of nice patriotic statements and conferences is gone, we need to see some one that actually does more than he talks, but hey, isn’t this what Arabs do Best, TALK.
Wow, an unoriginal supposedly controversial podcast shamelessly ripped from a tv station…kudos!
A “TV Station” you say?!
