Lashed AND Gang Raped!
A Saudi court has sentenced a gang rape victim to 90 lashes of the whip
because she was alone in a car with a man to whom she was not married.
The sentence was passed at the end of a trial in which the Al Qateef high criminal court convicted four Saudis convicted of the rape, sentencing them to prison terms and a total of 2,230 lashes.
The four, all married, were sentenced respectively to five years and 1,000 lashes, four years and 800 lashes, four years and 350 lashes, and one year and 80 lashes. Via Gulf Times
What utter nonsense, 90 lashes for the victim and 80 for the rapist?! And they claim practicing the Shari’a Law?! What law incriminates the victim and punishes her as sever as the attacker for being in the “Wong Place”?
What kind of culture takes an issue like this sitting down? First it was the “Grand Mufti” of Australia, Sheikh Taj al-Din al-Hilaly who mentioned that women who did not cover themselves Islamically could be compared to uncovered meat left outside, and if cats ate the meat, then who could be blamed, the cats or the meat? He referred to the rapist Bilal Skaf, who led a group of young men who terrorized, physically brutalized and gang-raped several women in western Sydney.
When will those clowns realize that the entire world is watching? When will they realize that it is only the image of Islam that will be affected by their juvenile childish irresponsible acts of stupidity?
With people like those supposedly leading today’s Islam, I absolutely see no hope of advancement from the dark ages we continue to live in today.

I read that too, and I thought to myself “it could be a grammer typo, surely they can’t lash out at the victim, it must be a mistake of some sort”. But, it’s not :s
Makes you think the middle ages are pretty much still streching out to the current day, doesn’t it.

Since you showed some interest in the subject, I’ll share some of my research with you here:
The Australian Mufti did in fact blame women who do not wear the Islamic headdress for being raped (Source) which doesn’t seem to be strange to the modern Islamic schools of thought. Check this for more sources, just google in the name of the girls for some shocking horror stories.
Mohamed this is really crasy ! Im muslim , sara is Muslim, and you know what? I dont even want Sara even think about that some thing like this can happend to her or some other girl … Mohamed this is really sick … Koran say you may cover your head , and wear decent clothes ..but you must do it from your heart .. who this PPL think they are?.. Wallah brother this is crasy and really make me sick !
